Northern Ontario Fly-In Fishing Camp

Sydney Lake Lodge is a Fly-In Fishing Lodge north of Minaki, southwest of Red Lake Ontario Canada. We offer fly-in fishing trips for walleye, northern pike and lake trout.

The fishing camp is located on the South East corner of Woodland Caribou Park and on the northern fringe on Ontario's Trophy Waters.

I am hoping this blog will be a good way to talk about Sydney Lake and my life in Red Lake. Please feel free to post and to contact me with any questions.

Boat storage

Boat Storage: make yourself a ramp with rollers, put in a hinged joint so that the ramp fits the contour of the ground. The rollers guide the boat out of the water and make pulling with an ATV easier. The use of a saftey harness rope with hooks on both ends makes easier to hock and unhook the boat. To turn the boat over, grab the gunnel of the boat and lift up and push it up and over towards the other boats, let the boat down slowly untill it is inplace and then tie the bow and stern ropes to the other boats.
